I honestly wish this site wouldn't have a voting system. Idk if I'm the only one but I really dislike it.
I'm already very selfcouncious about my art but seeing the votes makes me even more concious about it.
I wish there was the ability to turn it off if you don't like it.
I get what you mean. Makes you more conscious about numbers and ratings rather than on yourself. Best way to counteract that is to let the fame come your way naturally while you focus on yourself. Let your art speak for itself, basically. (Although I will admit I do like seeing numbers go up.)

I agree with you completely. It drives me especially mad when someone says "This is really great!" to an extent and give it a 3 star rating, like... how am I supposed to perceive that? Lol Truly wild.
